There was once,
When my thoughts were in you,
Those candle flickering lonely nights,
Where shadows of past haunted me timelessly,
You were the only place ,
Where my chaotic thoughts went hiding…

We had once smiled our way through hardships,
Braced ourselves for the inevitable,
But we stood firm ,
Unintimidated by challenges which came our way…

When night falls,
Those tantalizing memories,
Of together we once were,
Still haunt me mercilessly,
Now…
